At the Opti – Troy Hill Pond #2 site in Howard County, MD, a case study used a Faircloth Skimmer installed as part of a retrofit converting a dry pond into a wet pond using Opti’s CMAC technology. The skimmer allowed continued use of the existing orifice while preventing sediment clogging—improving reliability, reducing maintenance, and enabling the facility to qualify for water quality credits. By releasing cleaner surface water, the system now performs as designed with improved safety and long-term functionality.
